About the Event

Hosted in the remote mountain village of Lohajung, Uttarakhand, the Nanda Sacred Trails is a high-altitude trail running experience through the Garhwal Himalaya. Runners traverse ancient forest paths, alpine bugyal meadows, and exposed ridges with panoramic views of Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, and the greater Garhwal range. More than a race, this chapter of the DHARAK series is designed as a 5-day mountain immersion program, ensuring acclimatization treks before race day.

The Nanda Sacred Trails is not just a race—it’s a mountain journey. With its blend of forest paths, bugyal meadows, and ridge climbs, this event embodies the DHARAK spirit of “inspired by the ridge, built in the mountains.”
