About the Event

Dudhsagar Ultra showcases one of India's most prominent four-tiered waterfalls in Western Ghats. Located on Mandovi River near Goa-Karnataka border, Dudhsagar means 'sea of milk', referring to milky water appearance cascading down rocky tiers. This November event offers 21k with 280m elevation, 50k with 591m, and 100k with 1,670m elevation gain.

The mythical legend tells of a princess who had maidens pour milk into water to save her honour from a passing prince, creating the 'sea of milk' name. Goa's majestic Western Ghats hills feature beautiful trails and waterfalls in Mollem National Park and Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.

Organised by Grand Indian Trails, Dudhsagar Ultra introduces runners to scenic Western Ghats forest trails beyond Goa's famous beaches, pubs, and nightlife, providing reasons to visit this hidden trail running gem in India's coastal paradise.
