About the Event

Hanumangarh Epic presents a single-distance race held as part of Bir Running Festival. This May event starts from the paraglider landing site in Bir, climbing to legendary heritage fort ruins at 3,100 metres altitude in Barot Valley, Himachal Pradesh.

The 19k course features extreme 2,180m elevation gain, requiring a gruelling 9km uphill climb to reach ancient fort ruins followed by descent back to the finish line. This typical Hell challenge tests physical endurance and mental determination in one of India's most scenic mountain regions.

Organised by The Hell Race, Hanumangarh Epic showcases extreme vertical challenges that make Himachal Pradesh a premier destination for mountain trail running, combining technical demands with historical significance of reaching the ancient fortress.
