About the Event

The Manapass Challenge is one of India’s highest-altitude endurance races, set in the remote Himalayas of Chamoli district, Uttarakhand. Starting from the sacred village of Mana, near Badrinath, the course climbs towards Manapass (5,600 m) — a frontier road that touches the Indo-Tibetan border.

The race is a rare opportunity to run in thin air, across rugged mountain roads, glacial valleys, and sacred landscapes steeped in mythology. With distances ranging from half marathon formats to ultra categories, the event is designed for athletes who want to test their endurance at extreme altitude.
