About the Event

Sinhagad Epic Trail presents an action-packed monsoon trail race at Sinhagad Fort's foothills in Pune. This June event runs through the Ghera of Sinhagad fort, known as Lions Den of Sahyadri Mountain Ranges, offering exciting, refreshing, and thrilling trail running amidst wind, fog, mist, and rains.

Participants scramble, climb, and scurry through four beautiful valleys surrounding Sinhagad fort, following trails where epic 17th-century battles were fought by brave warriors like Tanhaji Malusare, Kanhoji Jedhe, and Navji Balkawade. These battles helped Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj change history's course.

Organised by Western Ghats Running Foundation, the event offers four categories: 11k with 790m elevation, 21k with 1,230m, 30k with 1,560m, and 42k with 2,200m elevation gain, celebrating Maharashtra's fortress culture and monsoon trail running.
