About the Event

The Buddha Trails takes place in Rimbick hamlet near Darjeeling's heritage city in northern West Bengal. This unique April event represents a different world with distinct spirit and muse that Rimbick celebrates, featuring unique exoticism overlooked by Sleeping Buddha on Mt. Kanchenjunga.

India hosts this one-of-a-kind trail race where The Buddha Trails becomes the Hell race where runners choose to mark entry into the Hell world. Three categories challenge participants: 12k with 640m elevation, 30k with 1,780m, and 65k with 3,310m elevation gain.

Organised by The Hell Race, The Buddha Trails offers participants opportunities to experience West Bengal's northern mountain regions whilst testing their limits in terrain that showcases the cultural and natural heritage unique to this Himalayan region.
