The Coffee Trails
About the Event
The Coffee Trails takes participants through Coorg, one of Karnataka's smallest districts known for verdant coffee estates, hills, lush greenery, and the warrior Kodava community. Called the 'land of the bold and beautiful' and 'Scotland of India', Coorg earned these titles from Scottish and British settlers who found the hilly terrain, greenery, and cool climate reminiscent of their homeland.
This November ultra marathon traverses beautiful coffee estates and some of Coorg's most spectacular trails and views. The route encompasses three renowned peaks: Thadiandamol (Coorg's tallest peak), Kabbe, and Chomakund, offering three categories: 11k with 710m elevation, 30k with 1,339m, and 65k with 3,333m elevation gain.
Organised by Grand Indian Trails, The Coffee Trails showcases the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Karnataka's coffee-growing region whilst providing authentic mountain running experiences through the Western Ghats' diverse ecosystems.
